5. Pathway to Canada
After your job match, you’ll enter the process for either a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) or the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP).
Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA): A government approval that allows Canadian employers to hire foreign workers. Once approved, it opens the door for you to come and work in Canada.
Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP): A federal program that issues temporary work permits, allowing qualified workers like you to legally live and work in Canada.
